Enjoying the Kiba Park is easy with many great activities to choose from including tennis courts, swimming pools, playgrounds, jogging and biking trails, and weekend events. For those looking to admire the beautiful outdoors the park has tons of green fields, scenic walking trails, and fantastically landscaped gardens.

To maintain a flow and organization in the park it has been separated into two sections. The north area is used for sports events with several fields and tennis courts located in this division. The south are of the park is dedicated to events; there is a picnic area, gardens, and a child playground.

The area now known as Kiba Park was originally a lumber yard for a local construction supply company. Due to a change in developmental zoning plans, the lumber company relocated to another city selling the large area of land to the city of Kotoku.
