The Chelsea Hotel is a popular live house and club located in Shibuya, Tokyo.

Despite being named a “hotel,” the Shibuya Chelsea Hotel is not a hotel at all. It is a concert hall for primarily Emo and Indie Rock groups. It is located in Udagawa, which is known to attract many young people. It opened in February, 2003, and is still known today to confuse many people that believe it is a hotel when they drive by. It is located only a few blocks away from Shibuya Club Quattro.

The popular yearly event “Music Day” was held in the Chelsea Hotel on May 4, 2008.
