'''Ellegarden''' has quickly risen to stardom since the band's creation in 1998. This [[jpunk]] band, originally from [[Chiba]] prefecture, is now recognized internationally after touring with artists such as [[SUM 41]], [[blink-182]], and [[Good Charlotte]]. Their lyrics are both in Japanese and English, with the English being mostly gramatically correct and pronounced correctly, unlike most Japanese artists whose command of the English language is often poor. Their contagious pop-punk sound has helped them to become very popular in Japan after just a few years and today fans find it difficult to get tickets to their live shows. They have released seven albums in Japan and one in the United States.
