After having a great deal of success with her first collection, “Tokyo Principle”, Atsuki Onishi started her own line in 1983, quickly followed by the first collection “Atsuki Onishi knit the Books” in 1985. In 1986, she presented for the first time in the A/W Collection with “Teddy Bear” and produced uniforms for the International Sports Fair.<br /> <br /> After spending a number of years in London, Onishi returned to [[Tokyo]] and started the Men’s brand “Rupert” in 1994.
