Aomori is best known for its numerous outdoor attractions, including world famous apple orchards, Lake Towada, and [[Oirase River]]. Mount Osore, is also located here on the Shimokita Peninsula. Additional popular spots for visitors include Hakkoda Ship, Aomori Bay Bridge, Aomori Prefectural Folk Museum, Mount Hakkoda, Sannai-Maruayama Remains, Shirakami-Sanchi, and Nebut-no-sato Museum.
