Shinagawa-ku (品川区) is one of the 23 special wards of Tokyo, Japan.

In the past, parts of Shinagawa-ku were known as Shimazuyama. More recently, it is birthplace of the Sony Corporation. Shinagawa-ku lies alongside Tokyo Bay and like other areas around the bay - is made up in part of land reclaimed from the bay.
