Shibuya O-West is a concert hall located in Shibuya, Tokyo. It is one of the smaller concert halls in Shibuya, located on the 7th floor of the Shibuya building and across from a larger concert hall known as Shibuya O-East. Both concert halls are owned and run by Shibuya O.

Shibuya O-West opened as “On Air West” in 1994 before it was remodeled and renamed “Shibuya O” in late 2003.

Facility

Shibuya O-West is not as large as Shibuya O-East, and can only fit about 600 people total in its single floor arena. Only 250 of those are seats, with the rest of the space completely open for standing, dancing and socializing.

In general, Shibuya O-West is for medium sized groups and bands, especially popular for Indie’s rock band scene, though O-West is quickly becoming one of the most famous clubs for underground bands. There are 7 stories to this Shibuya O building, but music can only be found on the top floor. All of the acoustics are centered.
