Meguro Station

Meguro Station (目黒駅) is a Tokyo Subway station located in Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo. The station, slightly south of Meguro Street is nearly in Meguro-ku. While technically located in another ward, Meguro Station’s proximity to various locations of interest within Meguro-ku has made it a highly traversed station, serving multiple cross city lines as well as housing one of Tokyu’s well known department stores above ground.

Lines and Service

Currently four different services provide line service through Meguro Station with four different lines. The following services are available:

JR East – Yamanote Line Toei – Mita Line, through service with the Tokyu Meguro Line Tokyo Metro – Namboku Line, through service with the Tokyu Meguro Line Tokyu – Meguro Line, through service with above lines.

Station

Meguro Station is divided into four platforms, two each for the Yamanote Line of JR East going east/west, and two each for the Tokyu Meguro Line and the Toei and Tokyo Metro trains that run through the Tokyu line.

Multiple stations are directly adjacent to Meguro Station, although for many of them, Meguro acts as a terminus:
