Kyoko Kishida was born on April 29, 1930 in Suginami, Tokyo, Japan and died of respiratory failure caused by a brain tumor on December 17, 2006. She was married to Noboru Nakaya from 1954 to 1978 when the divorced. They have one child together. She was the daughter of writer Kunio Kishida, the sister of writer Eriko Kishida and the cousin of actor Shin Kishida.
