Itabashi-ku (板橋区) is one of the 23 special wards of Tokyo, Japan.

The ku is home to four universities: Daito Bunka University, Nihon University, Teikyo University, and Tokyo Kasei University.

The name "Itabashi" (板橋) means "plank bridge", and refers to the wooden bridge crossing the Shakujii River. Tourist attractions in the area include the annual Itabashi Fireworks Festival, Itabashi Kumin Matsuri (also known as Itabashi Festival), and Akatsuka Tameike Park.
