Fuji Rock Festival History

The first Fuji Rock festival was held in 1997 at the Tenjinyama Ski Resort near Mt Fuji. The location turned out to be a problem so the festival was moved to Tokyo for it's second year in 1998. Finally, in 1999, Fuji Rock found it's real home in Naeba and the festival has been held there each year since.

Fuji Rock 2008

The 2008 Fuji Rock Festival will be held July 25th, 26th, 27th at Naeba Ski Resort. Some of the band announced so far include Beat Crusaders, The Breeders, Kasabian, Ben Folds, My Bloody Valentine, Kasabian, and CSS.
