An eccelctic mix of pop, punk, and electronica, the sounds of Buffalo Daughter are not easily forgettable. This band, whose name represents strength and eludes to the band's foundings as an all-girl group, was founded in 1993. Members suGar Yoshinaga, Yumiko Ohno, and MoOog Yamamoto are known for their ability to incorporate a variety of electronic instruments with their music. Drummer Chika Ogawa left the group earlier in their career and since they have only hired support musicians as needed. The band is still active today and are slated to release a colaboration single with pop idol Ami Suzuki early in 2007.
