Bennie K is a J-Urban female duo that consists of rapper Cico and vocalist Yuki. They met while Yuki was in Los Angeles undergoing voice training after graduating from her school in New Zealand. They made their debut in January, 2001 with the single Melody.

Bennie K's songs usually combine Japanese and English and their English is more fluent than that of many Japanese singers'. The band is very popular in Japan. Japana-rhythm, debuted at #1 in the Oricon album charts.
