Fuji Rock is a Japanese music festival held each year at the scenic Naeba ski resort in Japan. The Fuji Rock festival is three days long and is usually held on a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The lineup, put together by Japanese promoters Smash, changes each year, but always features a large number of Japanese bands and foreign bands (the biggest Fuji Rock headlining bands are often foreign) of various genres - from rock to dance to urban, but the majority of bands are rock, as the festival name implies. More than just a music fest, Fuji Rock has become a big camping and environmentally friendly partying event for the 100,000+ people who attend each year.

Finally, in 1999, Fuji Rock found it's real home in Naeba and the festival has been held there each year since.
